Los Alamos And White Rock Visitor Centers To Reopen Wednesday

Exactly one year and one day after both Los Alamos and White Rock Visitor Centers were closed due to the state Covid-19 restrictions, Los Alamos County and Discover Los Alamos staff are excited to announce they will be reopening both centers on Wed., March 17.

Visitor Center staff has completed all required New Mexico “COVID Safe Practices” training programs and Discover Los Alamos is New Mexico Safe Certified. Stringent efforts will be made to ensure the constant safety of both staff and visitors. 

Both visitor centers will be open normal business hours. For Los Alamos, the Visitor Center is open Mon.-Fri., 9-5 p.m., Sat. 9-4 p.m. and Sun. 10-3 p.m. The White Rock Visitor Center is open seven days a week from 10-2 p.m. through May, and then hours change for the summer. For more information, visit www.visitlosalamos.org or contact Melanie Peña, Discover Los Alamos Director, at melanie@losalamos.org or (505) 661-4836.
