CHAMBER OF COMMERCE NEWS
The New Mexico foodie magazine Edible New Mexico announced it’s nominees for their Local Hero Awards, including Los Alamos’ own Pajarito Brewpub & Grill!
The Local Hero Awards are the “people’s choice” awards of the New Mexico food industry. An Edible Local Hero is an exceptional individual, business or organization making a positive impact on
New Mexico’s food systems. The honorees nurture our communities through food, service and socially and environmentally sustainable business practices. Edible New Mexico readers nominate and vote for their favorite local chefs, growers, artisans, advocates and other food professionals in two dozen categories. Pajarito Brewpub & Grill has been nominated in the “Gastropub” category.
The Brewpub is no stranger to awards from Edible New Mexico, having won 2nd Place Best in Show in 2019 for their green chile cheeseburger, among many other awards. When the shutdown started, Pajarito Brewpub put their entire menu online and started both curbside pickup and delivery. The menu can be found at https://www.pajaritobrewpubandgrill.com and the Brewpub itself is located at 614 Trinity Drive in Los Alamos. Besides their award-winning food, they are known locally for their great selection of tap beer.
Owners Patrick Mockler-Wood, his wife, Emily and his mother Cathy Mockler are thrilled to have been nominated. “My wife, mother, pub family and I are honored to be nominated and recognized for our endless hard work and care that we put into our business every day. It really warms our hearts,” said Mockler-Wood.
