Los Alamos Police Department officers investigate the site of an accident at 35th Street and Diamond Drive early Wednesday afternoon. A 50-year old Los Alamos man was struck by a mid-size truck while cycling east on Diamond Drive. He was transported to Los Alamos Medical Center by Los Alamos Fire Department personnel and later to St. Vincent’s Hospital in Santa Fe. He suffered several serious but non-life threatening injuries and is expected to remain hospitalized for several days. LAPD is investigating the accident. Photo by Maire O’Neill/losalamosreporter.com
