Los Alamos Public Schools Board members, administration, and staff are joined by Los Alamos County officials for a ribbon cutting Monday for the new Los Alamos High School Sullivan Field House. The $5.8 million project was paid for by general obligation bonds, HB 33 funds and Los Alamos County. The new facility is 7,000 square feet and includes locker rooms for home and away teams, concessions, ticket booths, a spirit store, public restroom, a training room and 1,000 square feet of storage space. Construction began in December 2020 and was completed in June 2020. The field house supports not only sports teams and the band, but also LAHS physical education classes.
