The Los Alamos County Council meeting slated to start at 6 p.m. Tuesday was canceled because of issues with the Zoom link published on the agenda. When participants attempted to log in to “attend” the virtual meeting, they received a message that the webinar had expired.
County Manager Harry Burgess told Council that anything other than re-noticing the meeting, including posting an updated Zoom would not comport with the 72 hours notice requirements of the Open Meetings Act.
“It’s very unfortunate, I agree, but I think that’s the safest path forward,” he said.
