SANTA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE NEWS

Victims of a tragic motor vehicle accident Jan. 27 in Pojoaque have been identified by the New Mexico Office of the Medical Examiner. They are Curtis Roque, 19, of Santa Fe, Angelia Rodriguez, 19, of Santa Fe, and Isaiah Maestas, 17, of Espanola.

Santa Fe County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene to the scene and found the three deceased persons outside the vehicle. Preliminary investigation results indicate that a red Toyota Tacoma truck driven by Roque was traveling at a high rate of speed and began to skew along the roadway, flipping several times and ejecting all occupants.

The investigation into the accident is continuing.
