DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION NEWS
The New Mexico Department of Transportation will be conducting a bridge inspection on I25, beginning at 9:00AM on Monday February 8th, 2021. Inspectors will be looking at the Canada De Santa Fe overpass, which lies between the La Bajada Rest Area and the La Cienega exit ramp.
Drivers can expect lane closures between mileposts 269 and 270 on the southbound lanes. Once the southbound lanes have been completed, crews will be moving across to the northbound lanes. One lane of traffic will remain open while the inspection is carried out. Traffic control personnel will be on hand and speed limits will be reduced through the area.
The inspection is expected to be completed by 2:00PM that day.
