LAPD NEWS

Los Alamos Police Department officers are now cross commissioned as Special Deputies for Santa Fe County Sheriff Adan Mendoza.

LAPD officers now have authority to assist and enforce traffic and criminal laws outside the County of Los Alamos. LAPD encourages commuters to drive at a safe speed dependent upon the weather in the upcoming months as officers will be enforcing traffic offenses in Los Alamos and neighboring Santa Fe County.
