The Los Alamos Ice Rink will be adding Skater Development Sessions to its schedule starting Jan. 18 through Feb. 14. The sessions are available by reservation via phone only, with no more than 10 people per session. Reservations can be made one day in advance and will be limited to four individuals or one household if calling for a family larger than four. To make a reservation for a skate session, please call the Ice Rink between 10am – 5pm at 662-4500; voicemails and emails will not be accepted as confirmed reservations. Skater Development sessions include a brief skating lesson at the beginning of each session. Below is the current Skater Development schedule:

Monday, Jan. 18 (Martin Luther King Jr. Day)

• Session 1: 11:30am – 12:30pm
• Session 2: 1:00pm – 2:00pm
• Session 3: 2:30pm – 3:30pm

Wednesdays & Fridays

• Session 1: 1:00pm – 2:00pm
• Session 2: 2:30pm – 3:30pm

Saturdays & Sundays

• Session 1: 3:00pm – 4:00pm
• Session 2: 4:30pm – 5:30pm
• Session 3: 6:00pm – 7:00pm

Please note that locker rooms, concessions, skate sharpening, and water fountains are not available. However, skate rentals and restrooms are available. Los Alamos Ice Rink is categorized as a “Close-Contact Business” under the current Public Health order and as such, masks must be worn at all times, and social distancing of 6 feet must be practiced.
