Los Alamos County is excited to announce that the Ice Rink is scheduled to open Dec. 21, 2020 through Feb. 14, 2021; while practicing COVID Safe Practices and abiding by the current Public Health Order.

Youth hockey development programs are available through Los Alamos Hockey Association (LAHA) and limited skater development sessions will be available on weekends, with no more than 10 people per session. Reservations for skater development sessions will be taken starting the Monday before the coming weekend, and reservations can be only made for a week in advance.

To make a reservation for a weekend skate session, please call the Ice Rink Monday through Friday between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. at (505) 662-4500; voicemails will not be accepted as confirmed reservations. Reservations will be limited to four individuals or one household if calling for a family larger than four.

Please note that locker rooms, concessions, and water fountains will not be available. However, skate rentals and restrooms will be available. Below is the current schedule: 

Monday – Friday: 

• 4:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. LAHA youth hockey development program 

Saturday – Sunday: 

• 9:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. LAHA youth hockey development program
