The Regional Coalition of LANL Communities Board of Directors has published a request for proposals for executive director services and proposals will be accepted until 2 p.m. Jan. 14, 2021. Responses from the region represented by the RCLC are being highly encouraged by the board.

At present half-time executive services have been budgeted by the RCLC, however the board is applying to the Department of Energy for a $100,000 annual grant which would cover the other half. The previous contract which ended in August was with Chicanos por la Causa for some $15,000 per month. The board began discussions of an RFP in April when a subcommittee was appointed by RCLC Chair and Santa Fe County Commissioner Henry Roybal, however the RFP was not published until November 23.

The RFP notes that the successful contractor will advocate for the RCLC mission, provide administrative leadership, provide support to the board, and other tasks as assigned.

Actual publication of the RFP was handled by the City of Espanola on behalf of the RCLC. More information on the RFP may be obtained from Procurement Officer Josephine Velasquez, City of Espanola, 405 Paseo de Onate, Espanola, NM 87532. Email jvelasquez@espanolanm.gov.
