Los Alamos Public Schools Board members are holding a work session today, Thursday, at 5:30 p.m. to discuss and possibly approve a proposed memorandum of agreement with Los Alamos County for a proposed 360-unit housing project on North Mesa on property currently owned by LAPS. rsday, Nov. 19.
The item was postponed during last week’s board meeting amid concerns voiced by the public that there had not been enough public discussion. Opposition to the MOA has been strong and the School Board has been alerted that a petition of 300 signatures will be presented during the work session.
