Leadership Los Alamos

In times like these, leadership becomes even more important to our communities.  The Leadership Los Alamos (LLA) class of 2020 recently held its last session virtually with Phil Bryson from On The Edge Productions.  Program completion was delayed due to the pandemic; however, the observation and growth opportunities for leadership learning were enhanced by this delay.  Throughout the program the class had an opportunity to learn about their own leadership styles and how to integrate them successfully with other styles.  They also learned about our community by taking a deep dive into topics such as Community Programs, Education, Government, Environment, Culture, Economic Development and Youth.

The Board of Directors would like to congratulate and recognize the 20 graduates from the 2020 class:

From Los Alamos County:  Julie AlderseBaes, Micah Brittelle, Donna Casados, Cathy D’Anna, Steve Dawald, Armando Gabaldon, Nathan Romero, Bev Purtymun and James Thwaits

From Bandelier National Monument: Jamie Civitello, Doug Seekins, Judith Smith and Jackie Stark

From Enterprise Bank & Trust:  Elizabeth Bailey

From Family Strengths Network:  Ali Harper

From Self Employment:  Crystal Hollon

From LANL Foundation:  Bryan Maestas

From LANL:  Donna Martinez

From UNM-LA:  Joe Matthews and Laci Taylor

Due to the pandemic, the LLA Program is on hiatus.  Leadership Los Alamos is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3), tax exempt organization founded to identify current and emerging leaders in the Los Alamos community, enhance their leadership skills, and deepen their knowledge of the challenges and opportunities facing our area.
