Los Alamos Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Section filed a criminal summons in Los Alamos Municipal Court Friday for Joseph Fawcett, 39, of White Rock on charges of petty larceny and damage to public or private property.

The summons is the result of an investigation into the theft and damage of political signs.

LAPD requests that the public report suspicious activity and wants the public to know further action is being taken to protect political signs throughout Los Alamos County.
