Michaela Robertson Enlists In The U.S. Army

Los Alamos High School Class of 2018 alumna Michaela Robertson has enlisted in the U.S. Army as a 68 W Combat Medic. ’68 Whiskey’ medics provide emergency medical treatment at point of wounding on the battlefield, limited primary care and health protection and evacuation from a point of injury or illness. Robertson is an EMT Basic and has helped teach the EMT Basic class at UNM-LA. She currently works as a phlebotomist with the Los Alamos National Laboratory Occupational Medicine Division. She will graduate from UNM-LA in December with an associate’s degree in Emergency Management and Fire Science. In January Robertson will head to Fort Sill, Oklah. as a Private First Class for basic training. She is the daughter of Michelle and Terran Robertson of Los Alamos. Courtesy photo
