Los Alamos Police Det. Michael Weiss, left, and Los Alamos Fire Department EMS Division Chief Chris Bartlett donate blood Thursday during the annual Battle of the Badges Blood Drive at the  First Baptist Church at 2200 Diamond Drive. The event will continue Friday.  Donors will be distanced 6 feet apart and required to wear a mask/face covering at all times in the donation area. Donors will receive a tee-shirt, and can cast their vote for LAPD or LAFD. All blood donations will be tested for COVID-19 antibodies.
