The Democratic Party of Los Alamos County marked 100 days until the general election with a weekend of virtual events. On Friday, Congressman Ben Ray Lujan held a “Virtual Road Trip” that was attended by a variety of elected officials and members of the public. On Saturday afternoon, voters joined a virtual meet and greet for Democratic candidates for Los Alamos County Council–Denise Derkacs, Rodney Roberson, and Sean Williams. Sunday’s virtual volunteer kickoff event brought DPLAC leaders and volunteers together to discuss plans for the next 100 days. “Over the course of the weekend, more than 50 individuals joined local Democrats on Zoom and Facebook Live in looking forward to and strategizing for the November General Election,” Said DPLAC Chair Cat Ozment.
