DPU: Crew Responding To Water Line Break At Los Alamos Golf Course

Los Alamos Department of Public Utilities water crews are responding to a break on a 16-inch water transmission line at the Los Alamos Golf Course near Woodland Trail. The break was reported this morning at 6 a.m. and affected water tanks that provide drinking water to North and Barranca Mesas. Some customers in these neighborhoods may have experienced low water pressure.

Crews isolated the break and water pressure should have returned to normal by around 7 to 8 a.m.  Repairs to the water line are underway and should be completed before the end of the day.  No interruption to water services is anticipated.
