After two years of working at a local salon, Marissa Larribas took over the business and renamed it Elevated Hair Co. She now operates as both a barber shop and hair salon at 3500 Trinity Drive, Suite A1.

Elevated Hair Co. offers hair styling, hair coloring, makeup for special events and barbering. A wash and style for women ranges from $35 to $45 for women and $17 to $45 for men.

“Although Elevated opened in May, we have not been able to have a ribbon-cutting but we will have a special celebration at a later date,” Larribas said.

The salon is strictly observing the governor’s directives for COVID-19. Clients are required to wear a mask and the maximum occupancy is four persons – two stylists and two clients. Lala Mata is the second stylist at the salon.
