Next Voices of Los Alamos meeting is this coming Monday, June 22, 6:30 pm, with Lisa Cantrup speaking on municipal composting, Zero Waste projects, and the work of the Environmental Sustainability Board.
The meeting will be on Zoom and a link will be sent to the email list and posted on the Voices Facebook page on Monday.
Lisa Cantrup is the Chair of Environmental Sustainability Board in Los Alamos and has been serving as a member since 2018. She is a local gal living in White Rock with her family. When she is not working with the ESB, she is the Communications Manager at a non-profit in Santa Fe or chasing her two young children and 10 chickens at home.
Voices of Los Alamos is a non-partisan, progressive advocacy group created as a way for Los Alamos residents to voice their concerns over the current political events (both at the state and at the federal levels). We strive to build community, educate, discuss, and enact action plans, with a focus on the following issues: social justice, women’s rights, human rights, education, environment, health care, gun safety, and election reform.
