PROJECTY COWORK NEWS
A flexible workspace for Los Alamos entrepreneurs, remote workers and others
projectY cowork Los Alamos is celebrating its fourth anniversary this month, bringing the option of a flexible workspace to Los Alamos for entrepreneurs, remote workers, students and others.
The coworking space will officially re-open on Monday, June 15, and operate at 25% capacity in accordance with COVID-19 state guidelines. Management has instituted enhanced cleaning procedures, physical distancing of tables, increased air flow and other protocols to ensure everyone is safe and healthy. New hand sanitizer units and disinfectant wipes will also be available for users of the space, and masks will be required/provided.
projectY cowork provides a change of scenery from the same walls at work, or from your home office. In addition to open and dedicated desk space, a small conference room and outdoor seating, projectY cowork has recently added a soundproof and ventilated modern ROOM phone booth. Currently hosting about 40 members in a variety of monthly membership plans, the coworking space also offers a punchcard and drop-in day passes, as well as specialized discounts for non-profits and students. Members also receive free coffee, tea and packaged snacks.
“One huge benefit of coworking is meeting and collaborating with others in different fields,” said Christina McCormick, projectY cowork Community and Marketing Manager. “During this stressful time, social interaction continues to be important for mental health, even if you’re physically distancing while doing so. We’d love to see some familiar, as well as new faces at our coworking space!”
projectY is located at 150 Central Park Square near Pet Pangaea, Timeout Pizza and Rose Chocolatier.
