Los Alamos High School graduating senior Neha Sadasivan is headed to the University of Chicago to study Political Science. She is graduating with honors, and among her achievements are: National Merit Finalist, Rotary Distinguished Student of Service, AP Scholar with Distinction, National Speech & Debate Association All-American, LANL Foundation Bronze Scholarship recipient and National Merit Battelle Scholarship recipient. Neha has been a fellow at the Santa Fe Council on International Relations since 2018. She was president of the LAHS Speech & Debate Team her senior year and a Leadership Board Member of Model UN for two years. She was a three-time state qualifier to the National Speech & Debate Tournament. Neha has been learning and performing Indian Classical Dance since 2010. She has been a volunteer at Betty Ehart Senior Center and a volunteer tutor at Los Alamos Middle School through the Los Alamos Juvenile Justice Advisory Board. She also presented since 2017 an Instagram Studygram showcasing Bullet Journaling and study notes to inspire other student. Neha is the daughter of Anagha Dandekar and Pratap Sadasivan of Los Alamos.
