Los Alamos High School Class of 2020 student Dara Armstrong has graduated with honors. She will attend the University of California Berkeley in the fall to study Economics and Philosophy. Dara started playing hockey when she was four years old and was selected to play for the LAHS varsity hockey team for three years. She participated in the student internship program at Los Alamos National Laboratory in the Theoretical Biology and Biophysics Group. She was a member of the National Honor Society and National Mathematics Honor Society. Dara is a national merit finalist and is the recipient of a National Merit Battelle Scholarship. She is the daughter of Derek and Jerawan Armstrong. Courtesy photo
