On Thursday, the New Mexico Aging and Long Term Service Department delivered food boxes to Los Alamos. Thanks to some heavy lifting by Los Alamos County employees Alex Archuleta and Gaminel Mendoza, and All Together Los Alamos volunteer David Hampton, the Betty Ehart Senior Center will offer a free food  distribution for seniors 60 and over, those with disabilities or those grandparents raising grandchildren. The distribution is scheduled for 10 a.m. to noon Monday, May 17. Those unable to attend or needing a delivery can call (505) 662-8920.
