Los Alamos Department of Public Utilities water crews will close a section of Nectar, between 15th Street and 17th Street to replace a water line. The closure began at 6 p.m. Thursday and will remain in place until Friday evening.
While the Nectar entrance into the northeast parking area for Central Park Square will be closed, the 15th Street entrance at Myrtle will remain open for both ingress and egress. The Nectar entrance into Central Park Square west of 17th Street (or across from the park) will not be affected.
Door hanger notifications were provided earlier this week that water services will be shut off at 8 p.m. to a few commercial customers with water restored by 12 midnight.
