The Los Alamos County Library System is hosting a virtual speculative fiction short story club starting this week! Join other speculative fiction fans to read, discuss and vote on your favorite story from the 2020 Hugo Award nominees for best short story.
The Hugo Awards, started in 1953 and presented annually since 1955, are one of the most famous awards for science fiction, fantasy and horror, and they are voted on by fans who participate in the World Science Fiction Society‘s annual WorldCon (this year it is ConZealand), either by attending or by purchasing a membership.
When: Thursday nights at 7 p.m., starting Thursday April 30 and with the last session on Thursday, June 4

The first story will be And Now His Lordship Is Laughing by Shiv Ramdas, which we will discuss at 7p.m. Thursday, April 30.
