Los Alamos County officials advise property owners that the second-half installment of 2019 property tax bills are due today, Friday, April 10, and will be considered delinquent after Monday, May 11.

While the County does not accept credit cards for tax payments, property owners can submit a check or money order one of three ways:

  • Mailed to Los Alamos County at P.O. Box 99, Los Alamos, NM  87544
  • Left in the dropbox in the Municipal Building parking lot, 1000 Central Avenue, Los Alamos
  • Delivered to a teller through the drive through services at either the Los Alamos or White Rock branches of Enterprise Bank and Trust

Due to the declared COVID-19 Public Health Emergency, payments cannot be made in person at this time. To avoid late payment penalties or interest charges, property owners are reminded that the payment must be postmarked by midnight, May 11 if mailed. Payments left at the dropbox or presented at the bank must be received by close of business on May 11.
