LACDC NEWS

Los Alamos Commerce and Development Corporation (LACDC) through its programs, Los Alamos Chamber of Commerce and Los Alamos MainStreet, have curated a list of local businesses and their modified hours and operations in light on COVID-19 state and federal restrictions. This includes whether restaurants are offering curbside pickup or delivery, as well as if a respective business is offering customers gift cards options. Consumers may access it through the MainStreet, Chamber or LACDC websites: Business Status List

LACDC employees are encouraging the community to continue to safely support local businesses through these alternative methods, as they adapt amidst mandatory or suggested closures and limitations placed on their normal operations. The Chamber and MainStreet are also diligently collecting and disseminating information on all types of aid that may be available to these small business owners and their employees.

Additionally, staff will be hosting several remote meetings with the local business community to discuss support options and advocacy. They will take place on the following days and times via Zoom conferencing:

Friday, March 20 – 9 am – Register Here

Monday, March 23 – 7 am – Register Here

Wednesday, March 25 – 7 pm – Register Here

Friday, March 27 – 12 pm noon – Register Here

Registration details will also be available through the MainStreet (www.LosAlamosMainStreet.com), Chamber (www.LosAlamosChamber.com) and LACDC (www.LosAlamosDevelopment.com) websites

Those seeking or conveying information about current employment opportunities may visit the Chamber website at http://losalamoschamber.chambermaster.com/jobs or submit information to Ufemia at ufemia@losalamos.org.

During this time, businesses don’t have to be a Chamber member or MainStreet business to participate in any of the LACDC offerings.

The Business Status List will be evolving as businesses update operations and procedures. Updates or missing information may be sent to the Chamber (ryn@losalamos.org) or MainStreet (lauren@losalamos.org).
