A Pandemic Advisory Team has been stood up by Los Alamos National Laboratory and is very closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation, a Lab spokesman told the Los Alamos Reporter Monday morning in an email.
The Team is led by the Lab’s Medical Director.
“At this time, there are no confirmed cases at the Laboratory and there has been no disruption to Laboratory operations,” the spokesman said. “The Laboratory is taking precautionary measures to protect the health of the people who work at the Laboratory and surrounding communities, including a liberal work from home policy, where possible, to promote social distancing.”
The spokesman said all measures at the Laboratory are closely aligned with the Department of Energy and the National Nuclear Security Administration.”
