Aspen Elementary School celebrated Read Across America Week all week long and wrapped the week up with a PTO fundraising event Friday, Mar.. 6 that involved duct taping Principal Michele Altherr to a wall following the theme ‘Stuck On Reading’. For a donation of $1, students were given a piece of duct tape and got to place it themselves. Duct tape was donated by Metzgers, Los Alamos Home Improvement Ace Hardware, Auto Zone, Smith’s Marketplace and O’Reilly Auto Parts.
