Did you miss the first Community Seed Swap of the season? Don’t worry! We are having a second one at the Los Alamos Co-Op Market from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 29.
Bring only packets of seeds you wish to give away entirely as you may not get any back. Take only the amount of seeds that you can use in one growing season.
If you are sharing seeds you’ve saved from your garden, please mark them clearly with the name of the plant and the year from which they were saved.
This event is sponsored by the Unitarian Church of Los Alamos. Voluntary donations towards a garden fund will be gratefully accepted. The fund will be used to grow a Food Forest and install and stock a bear-proof Food Pantry for the community food security.
Participation is free. Everyone is welcome whether you have seeds to share or not.
For more information, contact KokHeong McNaughton at firstname.lastname@example.org or Kate at email@example.com.
The Los Alamos Co-Op Market is located at 95 Entrada Drive.
