Registered Democrats are invited to attend the Democratic Party Ward Meetings and County Pre-Primary Convention tomorrow, Saturday, Feb. 15 at Fuller Lodge, 2132 Central.

Registration begins at 1 p m. and the meeting will call to order at 1:30 p.m.  Free on-site childcare will be provided for children ages 2+.

Candidates for statewide and congressional offices will speak briefly before the Ward Meetings.  Within each Ward, Democrats registered in Los Alamos County will elect 11 delegates to attend the State Pre-Primary Convention on March 7 at Buffalo Thunder Resort in Pojoaque. Those delegates will vote to nominate candidates to appear on the ballot for the primary in June.

Challenges to the Ward Elections must be presented to the Credentials Committee when it meets immediately after the Ward Meetings.
