The Los Alamos Community Orchestra presents their annual holiday concert at 7 p.m. Saturday at Crossroads Bible Church. The concert is free. Donations are gratefully appreciated, and the concert is appropriate for all ages.

The orchestra, under the baton of conductor Tjett Gerdom, will play a combination of classic and newer holiday repertoire. The concert opens with excerpts from Tchaikovsky’s score for the ballet The Nutcracker, a holiday favorite.

Other selections include Irving Berlin’s “White Christmas,” an arrangement of “Silent Night,” Leroy Anderson’s “Sleigh Ride,” and a medley of holiday tunes from the movies. There’s a Christmas singalong and one lucky raffle winner will conduct an arrangement of “Jingle Bells.”

The symphony’s holiday concert is always a community favorite. Join them Saturday evening for music, fun, and refreshments.
