Have you ever seen a JUUL? Do you know what wax is? How about a Xany bar? Do you know that dabbing is more than the latest new dance move? Have you ever seen something suspicious and wondered who you should tell?
Join us for a Health and Safety Family Information Night on Monday, Nov. 4. The discussion will begin at 5:30 pm in the Los Alamos High School Speech Theater. Light food and refreshments will be provided.
Los Alamos Public Schools in partnership with JJAB will host this informational meeting for families to learn more about emerging trends with e-cigarettes, prescription and illegal drugs, and other important topics as well as the Say Something Anonymous Reporting System (SS-ARS) which was implemented at the high school and middle school last year.
As part of our ongoing series of informational safety sessions, LAPS is offering this opportunity to learn more about these trends and practice ways to connect with youth about the potential dangers of using these substances.
