Sharon Allen is making a library of books for the African Library Project in response to an urgent request from a northern Uganda school that is supporting young children of refugees from the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Sudan.
Some 1000 children’s books in new or used condition (pre-K-2nd grade reading level) are needed by Nov. 1 for shipment the following week. Baby board books are in great demand!
Please contact Allen at via email at email@example.com if you have books you would like to donate by Nov. 1. She will be happy to pick them up. All donations, no matter how small, are greatly appreciated Books with reading levels grade 3-8 are also needed for additional libraries which will be shipped in the future.
