On Monday, Oct. 7, the Community Development Advisory Board (CDAB) will be hosting an open house at 6 p.m. Los Alamos County Council Chambers at the Municipal Building.
Members of the board will be on hand to facilitate discussion and take notes on public feedback. The board is focusing on reviewing the nuisance ordinance of the county code to find out what areas need changes to better suit the community. At the open house, there will be several topics that CDAB is trying to gather public input for: weeds, inoperable vehicles, and outdoor storage of materials.
If you aren’t familiar with those specific ordinances do not fret, as board members will gladly go over ANY section of the nuisance code that attendees may have questions about. The open house is intended to foster open discussion between the public and the members of the board, so that informed recommendations can be made in the future.
As always, the board can be e-mailed at email@example.com with any and all questions or feedback. CDAB meets the third Monday of every month at 5:30 p.m. as well (next meeting is 10/21), and public comment is always welcomed. We hope to see you at the open house!
