SPORTS NEWS

Nine members of the Los Alamos Young Guns competed Sept. 28-29 in the 2019 Rumble in the Jungle high school clay target competition in Farmington. Five teams from across the state competed in the event.

“Our Los Alamos shooters were strong and focused. For three members of the team it was their first time competing out of town and they did really well,” said head coach Mike O’Neill.

The Los Alamos Young Guns are competing Oct. 5-6 in the NRA Southwest Trap Championship at the Whittington Center in Raton.
