Aditya Viswanthan is an award winning photographer who has traveled around the world photographing birds, butterflies, fish, mammals and landscapes … and he is only 10 years old! Join Viswanathan at the Los Alamos Nature Center on Tuesday, Sept. 17 at 6:30 p.m. to learn about his photography adventures and hear how other kids can get involved in this exciting hobby. This talk is free to attend and no registration is required.

With the ease of use of the latest digital cameras, instant feedback on how pictures turn out and lightweight lenses, photography is more accessible than ever to young nature enthusiasts. Viswanathan will describe how he became interested in nature photography and how he has continually improved his skills to capture many amazing memories. He was recently recognized by “Ranger Rick Magazine” for a photo of a Leopard in Kenya that he took when he was 8-years-old.
