Seminar On Effective Board Meetings Offered Sept 14 In White Rock

The Santa Fe Parliamentary Unit will present a 1 1/2 hour seminar entitled “Effective Board Meetings” from 10:30 a.m. to noon. Saturday Sept. 14 at the White Rock Library, 10 Sherwood Blvd.

The interactive seminar will provide information and examples of practical applications of effective procedures. It will teach participants how to accomplish business without wasting time and should prove valuable for non-profit agency board members as well as members of community organizations.

Hand-outs will be provided to all participants.  Participants will take part in planning an agenda, presiding at a meeting, and introducing business before a board.

The Santa Fe Parliamentary Unit was chartered in March, 2003 in Santa Fe. The mission of the Unit is to promote the knowledge and practice of basic parliamentary procedure for all who are members of and participate in organizational meetings.
