“We are all aware of the many devastating tragedies and challenges facing our world today. Many of these problems can seem so overwhelming, and it’s hard to know how to help. I have experienced first hand and been an eyewitness to the impact that one group, one individual, one dollar, one committed vision can make,” said Rotarian LeAnna Parsons. “With your help, The Rotary Club of Los Alamos can make a difference serving as a beacon of hope for an entire community.”
The Los Alamos Rotary Club engages leaders. We exchange and encourage ideas, and together we take action. We invite you to join us. In past years, the funds raised by the Rotary Club of Los Alamos have supported international projects in Guatemala, Nepal, Nicaragua as well as the Dominican Republic. We are very active in Juarez, Mexico serving children and families with medical and social challenges with hands on support, and financial contributions. These efforts are saving and sustaining lives everyday. Locally, we have provided the Audio Loop System for Smiths Auditorium, designed and created outdoor structures for PEEC Nature Center, provided swim lessons for hundreds of elementary school children, as well supplied the county with much needed AED units, these as well as many other needs are being met everyday here by your local Rotary Club. Locally as well as internationally, we are all about setting communities, families and individuals up for sustainable success.
