N3B will be transporting an excavator from TA-21 at the end of DP Rd to Trinity Drive, crossing Marimac Plaza’s parking lot to Central Avenue, then east down NM502 to the Truck Route, beginning at 4 a.m. Friday.

They will stop at the Truck Route Inspection Station for inspection, then resume transport after peak commuter hours beginning at 9 a.m., traveling into White Rock on NM4 to Pajarito Road. NM502 will be closed at the bottom of the Main Hill Road during these early morning hours to allow the excavator to move safely down the Main Hill Road to NM4 and the Truck Route Inspection Station.

Early morning commuters should expect delays if taking the Truck Route to LANL/Los Alamos or should plan to travel on the Truck Route to Los Alamos between the hours of 4 a.m. and 5:30 a.m.
