RDC, New Mexico Economic Development Department Team Up For FUNDIT Small Business Finance Fair

On July 17, 2019, the New Mexico Economic Development Department and the Regional Development Corporation are joining together to present FUNDIT Small Business Finance Fair, in Taos, NM at El Monte Sagrado Hotel.

The event has been created to help business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs connect to lenders and other business resource experts. Small business and micro-business owners looking for small amounts of capital are invited to attend. More than 20 lenders will provide information about their resources.

Additionally, you can learn about three new funding opportunities from the Regional Development Corporation. (The RDC serves the 7 northern New Mexico counties listed below.)

  1. The Micro-Loan Fund: no-interest loans of up to $1500.00
  2. The Technology and Manufacturing Fund: No-interest loans of up to $20,000.00
  3. The Tribal Economic Diversity Fund: $1000 to $10,000 for business enterprises at least 51% owned and controlled by a tribal member in RDC service area

Come meet local lenders one-on-one to discuss your business project ideas, learn more about commercial financing, connect with business resources, and learn about the RDC’s new funding opportunities. Lunch will be provided and registration is required.

The Regional Development Corporation (RDC) is a private non-profit 501(c) 3 organization dedicated to improving economic development in Northern New Mexico. The RDC provides private investment opportunities and technical assistance to facilitate job growth and diversify the economies of communities in the following seven counties: Los Alamos, Mora, Rio Arriba, Sandoval, San Miguel, Santa Fe, Taos, and the municipalities and Native American Pueblos therein.
