N3B Community Forum For Nonprofits Slated For June 20 In Espanola

Newport News Nuclear BWXT Los Alamos (N3B) will hold a community forum for Northern New Mexico nonprofit organizations in Española on Thursday, June 20. The meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m. at the Convento at the Española Plaza.

N3B has $400,000 available to support Northern New Mexico nonprofit organizations in 2019. The purpose of the forum is to present guidelines for N3B’s Community Contributions Program and to answer questions about how to submit a request for nonprofit funding.

N3B manages the Los Alamos Legacy Cleanup Contract for the U.S. Department of Energy, Office of Environmental Management’s Los Alamos Field Office.

The company has pledged to donate five percent of its annual fee for managing the cleanup contract to Northern New Mexico nonprofit agencies and organizations.
