NMDG&F Bighorn Sheep Biologist Captures 17 Ewes And 7 Lambs In Photo

62522306_10158546783179148_6775210140917301248_o.jpgNew Mexico Department of Game and Fish Bighorn Sheep Biologist Caitlin Ruhl took this photo last week while glassing up some sheep in the Jemez Mountains. In this photo are 17 ewes and 7 lambs. Can you spot them all? Bighorn commonly prefer open and rugged terrain because it helps them mitigate predation risk, and ewes with young lambs are especially careful about where they choose to be.
