There were no injuries late Thursday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash at the roundabout construction zone on Trinity Drive, according to Los Alamos Police Department and Fire Department personnel on the scene.
Traffic was reduced to one lane eastbound and all westbound traffic was detoured to Central Avenue until the two vehicles were towed from the scene and minor debris swept from the roadway.
Traffic has been slow through the construction zone over the last couple of weeks where the speed limit has been decreased to 25 miles per hour in both direction. Road construction workers near the scene noted that not all drivers are observing the speed limit and that some appear distracted by the extra activity in the area.
