First Judicial District Attorney Marco Serna announced Monday afternoon that a Rio Arriba judge agreed with his office’s request to keep Brittany Garcia on a no bond hold for her alleged role as the driver in the horrific murder of Cameron Martinez. The court agreed with the Serna’s office that Garcia is a danger to the community. Garcia is charged with First Degree Murder and a string of other charges in the death of Cameron Martinez.

“I’m pleased to announce that the court agreed with our office to keep one of the criminals charged in the murder of Rio Arriba’s beloved Cameron Martinez in jail on a no bond hold,” said Serna. “Our office will continue our aggressive fight against the most dangerous, violent offenders in New Mexico, and we will attain justice for the Martinez family and all of northern New Mexico.”
