Annual Fair And Rodeo Queen’s Court Competition Slated For April 13

The annual Fair and Rodeo Queen’s Court competition will occur on Saturday, April 13.  The Queen’s Court Competition is a long-standing Los Alamos County tradition which selects young ladies with an equestrian background and people skills to represent Los Alamos County all summer in promoting the Los Alamos County Fair and Rodeo locally and regionally.

Interested candidates must be a Los Alamos County resident, or attend the Los Alamos Public Schools, and must be between the ages of 10 – 25 by September 1, 2019.  Contestants can register for one of three categories: Queen (Ages 17 – 25), Princess (Ages 14 – 16), or Sweetheart (Ages 10 -13).

Registration materials can be picked up at the Walkup Aquatic Center Front Desk or downloaded from the website at www.losalamosnm.us/rec.

Entries must be received by Wednesday, April 10 at 5:00PM at the Parks, Recreation and Open Space Division’s Administrative offices at the Aquatic Center.  For additional information please contact the PROS Division at 505-662-8170 or lacrec@lacnm.us.
