The New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science in partnership with its Foundation is hosting a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) initiative for New Mexico students in fourth through eighth grade.
The video contest, called “Brainy Solutions for a Better Tomorrow”, was announced Feb. 4. Registration is required by Monday, Mar. 4 and entries will be accepted by April 2.
“We’re looking for individuals, small groups and classrooms to show us their creativity, innovation, and the genius of all New Mexico STEAM students,” said Deborah Dixon. “The students are to create a two to three minute video showcasing the integration of science, technology, engineering, art and math.”

“It was a great experience for those students that participated, and we hope to receive many creative ideas again this year,” Dixon said.
