FAMILY COUNCIL NEWS

The Los Alamos Youth Activity Centers, a program of Los Alamos Family
Council, will host the first ever community-wide, Perfect Pi Day Celebration Mar. 14 from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Ashley Park Pond Pavilion.

The Pi and Pie event will include a silent auction, to bid on pies from local
restaurants and bakeries, and the sale of raffle tickets for the chance to pie local
celebrities.

Youth Activity Center members will have free pi friendly activities throughout
the afternoon and receive one free raffle ticket for the celebrity pie activity.

To volunteer your face or your business, call the coordinator at 672-1565. The
Youth Activity Centers memberships are open to all third through eighth grade
students, by filling out an application at http://www.lafamilycouncil.org .
