Los Alamos Family Council (LAFC) is looking for a new executive director.
LAFC, which was established in 1962 as a non-profit organization, currently operates a counseling center and two youth activity centers in the community. The executive director will be required to design, develop and support all aspects of operations, general administration and funds development and LAFC’s Mission, Goals and Strategic Plan.
Minimum requirements for applicants include: a four-year college degree; strong ability to serve as a leader and mentor; excellent supervision; financial management skills including administration of budgets and financial reporting.
LAFC would like to find someone with an MBA and/or MA/MS psychology-related degree preferred and/or equivalent experience. They also hope to find someone who has demonstrated competency in areas such as program management, fundraising, funds development, donor development, board relations and financial relationships. They would like the successful candidate to live in Los Alamos County or be willing to relocate within 90 days.
